As we’ve shared previously, we will no longer be issuing replacement cheque books from 30 June 2025.
You can continue to use your current cheque book after this date, but once it’s exhausted, you won’t be able to order a replacement.
Why is this change happening?
In alignment with the Australian Government’s plan to phase out cheques entirely by 2030, Hume Bank is supporting customers in transitioning to modern, more efficient payment methods.
Start preparing today
Take a moment to consider how often you use cheques and whether other payment methods might better suit your needs, such as online transfers, BPAY® or card payments.
